Coyhaique – Puerto Murta
After shopping for our lunch we are on the road. The last paved 80km. Then until Villa O’Higgings it will be gravel. Angela rides with Dirk in the Watson en I with Arnaud in the jeep. After a short stop for hot choco it starts to snow.
At 2 p.m. we drive unpaved and we are going to worry because we do not know wether we have a roof over our head tonight. According to the Lonely Planet there will be no houses for the next 200 km. We made it to Puerto Murta. An olderly couple welcomed us and made fresh vegetable soup and spagetti. The first fresh vegetables. They had a niece in Holland and we saw tulips in the garden. She showed us some nice things with windmills on it. Really nice souvenirs from Holland.
