Glad and happy we drive to the south through the Sinaï desert.Wonderful, what a different landscape and beautiful colors.
But the heat is too much for the Model-T.She get overheated and she has to stop and to cool down.
The road goes uphill and after 500 meters we have to stop again. With a cord the landrover pulls the Model-T over the mountains.
In the shadow of the mountain we drink a cup of coffee.
Suddenly we hear a hard noise and we see a cloud of dust. An accident. We run to the corner. Two guys are badly hurt. Soon there is an ambulance, because there is nearby a checkpoint with an ambulance.
Still we drive through the desert.When our guide finally find our hotel, we are stopped by a checkpoint and we are not allowed to drive into that road. Welcome to Egypt?!
2 1/2 hours later we have a new hotel.Early to bed and early to rise, we have to drive a long distance to the north.
