Departure of the penultimate follow-up team
Today is a lot cooler than the past few days, it is cloudy and ‘only’ around 30 degrees, lovely! If you had said that to me a week ago, I would have thought you were crazy.
Today is all about the departure of Willy, Michiel, Wouter and Silvia.
The tent is being taken down; we are organising our things that need to go in the Landrover.
We are dividing a lot of the large suitcases into smaller bags, which is easier to store. We now have 2 large empty suitcases left, Willy and Michiel are taking 1 of them back with them. It is being filled with clothes that are no longer needed, such as thick winter coats. The children really want to go to the aqua park in the sea, Dirk-jan and Michiel go with them to assist and in front of the crowd when they sit on a kind of cushion they are launched up when they jump on it. Every time Michiel jumps on it they seem to go higher and higher. The children enjoy it immensely.
Willy and Michiel have ordered a taxi that will take them to the airport at half past four. At ten past four Michiel receives a message that the taxi is ready. Suddenly we all rush towards the reception and completely forget to take pictures of the moment of departure.
In the evening we see the cans in the distance and at night it starts to rain heavily
