Report 29 October
By Liza
Before we leave Pennisula Valdes we drive to the coast to see the sealions.
Spring is in the air and we have a break at an old gastation with a lot of fun animals.
The road is long and flat, but different every time.
At Las Grutas we get off the road, a touristic coastspot but now there is no one. Just as we arrive and start looking for a campsite the Model T is making strange noises and Dirk isn’t happy with it. Dirk and Trudy stay and wait and Wouter and I go look for a place to stay. As we get back Dirk and Trudy are speaking with a passenger, Jorge. He is speaking about offering a hotel and the director of Tourism, but its all in Spanish, so we try to understand. More people are arriving.
They are so enthousiastic about the car and the story behing it all that Guillermo, the director of Tourism offers us a house at Cuyen, a beautifull place, run by Carlos and his father.
In the night Dirk can start repairing.
