Report 7th of november
By Robert
Today we drive from Quarai (Brazil) to La Cruz (Argentina), via the border at Uruguaiana.
We pack our stuff and say goodbye to last night’s barbeque friends. They seem to have some after effects of the alcohol as well…
At the coffee break we eat the first christmas cake, although we’re not really in the christmas mood yet with these temperatures.
We have lunch on the driveway of an estancia, shaded by the trees. In a village we see an even older transportation method than the T-Ford: horse and carriage.
We end our day in La Cruz, where we sleep at the communal campsite along the Rio Uruguay. The ablution block can not be used because of recent floods, so we can use the toilet and showers at the police station.
