Today a tinkering and relaxing day. We’ll stay here for an extra day; the tinkering will take a while. The children can play here and swim in the lake. In the afternoon we look for a nice spot under the trees by the lake and we stay there. A few hours. Dirk continues with the T-Ford in the meantime. We make plans for the rest of the route, because the route we had planned will no longer fit into the schedule. Showers are coming, we make sure everything is dry and get something to eat. We hear music in the distance, I had already seen that they were building something. Simon wants to watch, I go with him, there is a whole brass band with all kinds of different wind instruments in a kind of traditional costume. We sit down and listen for a while. All around us it is thundering and flashing, but it stays dry here. The brakes and tires in the box have been replaced, nice tinkering! Continue tomorrow.
