Today we got up early so that we can leave on time.
After a nice breakfast we pack our things and connect the T-Ford to the Landrover again.
Today we are going to try to drive a lot of kilometres again, at 9.30 we drive off the parking lot. We soon arrive at the ring road of Munich, what a big city that is. The ring road seems to have no end, every now and then there is a traffic jam due to road works and one due to an accident that just happened.
In between we have a cup of coffee and when we get off at about 1 o’clock we have lunch at a parking lot.
We are going to drive in the direction of Karlsruhe and we leave France for what it is, we are going to see how far we get today. Apart from the occasional small traffic jam, everything is going very smoothly today. We end up in a hotel west of Karlsruhe.
No nice back roads today but we drove 383 kilometres! We’ve caught up nicely again.
Tomorrow towards Luxembourg.
