By Sjaak and Trudy
In Lorne at the campsite, Dirk replaced the broken bolt and lubricated and checked everything. Meanwhile, the reporter of the magazine “Just Cars” came.
Today we drive along the Great Ocean Road. It is beautiful and we drive on the coast side so we have a beautiful view.
On the way we stop at a lake and were surprised by the relief of black swans.
Here too, large trees are already many years old.
We sleep at a campsite in Portland and get a visit from Graham and Maree from Coleraire in the morning.
Along the coast we see another piece of the worn-out rocks “the 12 apostles”.
Along the way we saw kangaroos, emu’s and lambs. We have a short stop in Robe, an old town.
We drive through nicely. We want to drive a lot today. Yet we enjoy the views over the mountains and along the beautiful flowering trees.
After a ride of more than 400 kilometers we arrive in the Coorong National Park. We set up camp on a beautiful lake and have a romantic sunset.
