Puerto Murta – Cochrane
At 08.00 o’clock we had breakfast at the lovely older couple where the stove was already burning. We said goodbye and took a picture with our hosts and Watson, because they fancied him also like many others.
Marjolein sits in Watson with Dirk and I and Arnaud drove in the Landrover. Again we saw frozen meadows but also a tiny sun that comes just over the mountains. It appears to become a beautiful day. The way leads along the Lago General Carrera and also along the largest river of Chile, the Rio Baker.
Smal roads and clifs and sometimes deep views where you could see the very tiny turquois Rio Baker
Here they never heard of guardrail. We made lovely pictures and saw beautiful sceneries, which unfortunately you cannot catch in a picture.
We also came across a ranchero with his cows.
But the most beautiful thing picture we shoot was of 2 enormous condors, the first ones we saw.
At 4.30 p.m. we arrived at Cochrane where we found a cosy hosteria. Again no wifi.
